Bluetech Accelerator is an open innovation program connecting talented startups with key players in the sector to create a pioneering ecosystem of innovation and business acceleration for the Blue Economy sector. The first edition focuses on Ports and Shipping 4.0.
Portugal launched the program Bluetech Accelerator on as a startup acceleration and corporate innovation program that integrates the Ocean Startup Portugal initiative, created under the “Portugal Ocean Program” protocol established between the Ministry of the Sea and FLAD.
The Minister of the Sea, Ana Paula Vitorino, presented the first edition of the Bluetech Accelerator, aimed at digital innovation and automation in Ports and Shipping (Ports & Shipping 4.0) and included in the Ocean Portugal Startup Program.
The first edition of the program aims to identify and support startups with the most innovative solutions in the scope of maritime-port 4.0 and that respond to major disruptive tendencies, namely Blockchain, Artificial Intelligence, Smart Shipping, Big Data, Port Automation, Autonomous Drones.
