NAVALIA has opened visitors’ registration for its eighth edition

Organizers hope sanitary conditions will be favourable for those dates and will allow achieving high attendance figures.

The International Shipbuilding Exhibition, NAVALIA, has just opened visitors’ registration for its eighth edition. Throughout the month of January, the organizers have received numerous inquiries about how to register, which is why we have decided to bring its opening forward.

In this sense, and despite the constant changes in terms of health protocols in every country, organizers trust the new edition conditions will be very favourable and will reach 2018 attendance figures, which reached 25,000 visitors. “Vaccination rates (…) are getting higher and higher and we are heading towards good weather, which will make us interact more in outdoor spaces. That is why we expect, at the end of May, although we will have a protocol in accordance with health regulations in force at that time, we will be able to get closer to the pre-COVID figures of NAVALIA”, explains Javier Arnau, Director of the trade fair. “NAVALIA MEETING experience held last September, which allowed us to bring together a small part of the sector again, showed us safe events can be held to boost economy again in a so needed time” adds Mr Arnau.

For this new edition, which will occupy over 23,000 square meters (distributed in pavilions 1, 2, 4, the hall and the outdoor exhibition), the trade show is about to launch a mobile phone application that will allow visitors to know everything this new date will offer them.

Technical Symposiums
Apart from that, the Technical Symposiums and Conferences Program will take place within the framework of the event and is having fewer and fewer spaces available, it is expected to be fully booked towards the end of February. This program is highly valued by the visitors who come to NAVALIA. This is an opportunity offered to exhibitors focusing on turning the trade fair into an International Forum where all the latest developments in the shipbuilding industry can be shared, especially from a technological and innovation point of view.
